The biopic on India’s first female doctor titled ‘Anandi Gopal’ has won a lot of accolades, not just from critics and fans but also other fellow celebs. After all the adulation that the film has been gaining, the film is chosen to be screened at the 50th International Film Festival of India (IFFI). The film will be shown in open air under the theme of ‘Joy of Cinema’. The film is directed by Sameer Vidwans and the screenplay is written by Karan Shrikant Sharma.

Anandi Gopal stars Bhagyashree Milind playing the titular role and Lalit Prabhakar in leading roles. The other cast members include Sonia Albizuri, Kshitee Jog, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Jayant Sawarkar and many more. The film is produced by Kishore Arora, Akash Chawla and Shareen Mantri Kedia. The film in among 14 other films to be screened in Goa between 20th November to 28th November.
