After a decade Ankita Lokhande has finally broken her silence and addressed her much talked break up with the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. At the moment Ankita is in the Bigg Boss house; she entered the show with her husband Vicky Jain.
In a recently released episode of Bigg Boss 17 TV actress Ankita Lokhande shared how her relationship with Sushant Singh Rajput ended. She revealed Sushant never gave her any reason why he was ending the relationship with her. Two were in a 6-year-long relationship.
The viral video clip from the episode shows Ankita having a chat with a fellow contestant Munawar Faruqui about Sushant. While addressing their break Munawar asked if there was ‘no major reason’ behind the break-up, Ankita replied, “No, there was no reason. I was blank. Ek raat mein cheezein palti meri life mein (Things changed in my life overnight).”
Ankita also revealed her doubt about Sushant getting influenced by people to break up with her. She said, “Jab aap upar chad rahe hote ho na career mein, aapko 10 log aur kaan bharte hain. Jo bhi ho raha hoga, mujhe nahi pata us time. Theek hai, maine kabhi roka bhi nahi (When you are climbing the ladder of success, 10 people try to influence you. I don't know what was happening that time. It's okay. I never even tried to stop him).”
Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput met on the sets of Zee TV’s daily soap Pavitra Rishta. They started dating while shooting the show and dated for nearly 6 years. Ankita and Sushant ended their relationship in 2016. After nearly 5 years Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his apartment in 2020 he allegedly committed suicide after suffering from depression.
Meanwhile, Ankita and her husband Vicky are having a difficult time in the Bigg Boss house; viewers are noticing and targeting Vicky’s behaviour towards Ankita. In the recently shared promo of the “nomination special” episode. It's revealed that Vicky Jain has been nominated for vote-out by couple Aishwarya Sharma and Neil Bhatt.
