Well known Television actress Madhavi Gogate has left fans shocked and sad after her sudden demise. The actress who essayed the role of Anupamaa (Rupali Ganguli’s) mother died at the age of 58 on November 21st. The actress had reportedly been tested positive for covid-19 a few days ago and was undergoing treatment at a hospital. However her healtg unexpectedly deteriorated over a few days leading up to her death. Fans and her co-stars on the show were inconsolable after the tragic news. 

Lead actress Rupali Ganguly paid her respect to Madhavi on social media along with some pictures and wrote, “So much left unsaid. Sadgati Madhaviji.” TV Actress Neelu Kohli wrote, “Madhavi Gogate my dear friend nooooo. I can’t get down to believing that you have left us. Heartbroken @gogatemadhavi you were too young to go. Damn Covid. I wish I had picked up that damn phone and spoken to you when you did not reply to my msg. All I can do is regret now.” Madhavi very recently had made her Marathi TV debut with the show Tuza Maza Jamtay. Her work in Hindi Television includes Kohi Apna Sa, Ek Safar Aisa Kabhi Socha Na Tha, Kahiin to Hoga, among others.
