Director Anurag Kashyap all set to leave Mumbai next year, feeling disappointed and disgusted with Bollywood.

Having made cult films like Gangs Of Wasseypur' and 'Dev D' Kashyap feels tired of how the industry functions. He complained that it is becoming difficult to take up new themes and experiment with filmmaking since the industry is disillusioned and lacks understanding of new concepts and follows formula films, moreover, a film is judged not for its content but with its bankability. While the south cinema is receptive and more stimulating for creativity and new ideas.

The director thus plans to start, fresh to enjoy the journey of creativity next year, while he has decided to move to the South in search of new creative stimulation.

He further stated with an example that a film like Manjummel Boys would not be made in Bollywood, but it would be remade since his industry works on new ideas but on something which is already made and seen success.
