Recently actor Arjun Kapoor, while discussing various directors in the film industry, he had no qualms to mention that he was a big fan of director Sandeep Reddy Vanga after watching his Hindi film ‘Animal’ and his unique style. The actor stated he might not agree to the actions in the film, but he likes Sandeep Reddy’s style to make one understand how the character is thinking. That there may be no thoughts behind a visual language.

Sandeep’s style is unique in editing, framing, or the pattern in visuals and the audio for a mainstream cinema. Arjun Kapoor mentioned in particular the scene where Ranbir Kapoor as Ranvijay Singh had to face a group of goons single-handed, and the sequence where he puts masks that make them look evil and not a caricaturist!


Talking further, in the ‘Animal’ by Sandeep Reddy, the character that Bobby Deol played and the way he was introduced with the sound made it look different and unusual.

Arjun Kapoor then discussed Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s debut film Arjun Reddy with Vijay Deverakonda and said it was tremendously crafted film by him and the kind of performance and thought process that the man’s brain works is simply amazing, that Arjun expressed he started clapping and went mad, wondering how Sandeep manages to bring out these performances.

 

Sandeep Reddy’s last film was Animal released in 2023 which was a massive success. He is now shooting for Spirit with Prabhas in the lead. Arjun Kapoor on the other hand, was last seen in the 2024 film Singham Again in which he is the antagonist and in 2025 in the comedy triangle film Mere Husband Ki Biwi released in 2025.
