TV actress Ridhima Pandit, who is a Maharastrian will soon be working in a film speaking her mother tongue. She will be making her debut into Marathi films with the Aditya Sarpotdar directed film ‘Maheshcha Badla’. She will be playing the lead opposite actor Ankush Chaudhari. The actress clarifies that although she knows the language she is not very fluent with it and still has to work hard to get her diction right. The film’s team too has helped her in getting her pronunciations correct.

Ridhima has done a ton of work in Hindi Television but only done one matrimonial ad in Marathi. She says that her grandmother fondly remembers that one ad and hoped that she would feature in a Marathi film some day, and ‘Maheshcha Badla’ will be dedicated to her ‘aaji’.
