Bollywood actress Meera Chopra may have got a head start in her acting career being a famous person’s sister but that’s where the advantage ends. The famous person in question here is The White Tiger actress Priyanka Chopra. Meera who has featured in films like 1920 London and Section 375, says being her cousin has not been of much help, despite what people think. She clarifies, “Honestly, being related to her has not helped me in my career but it has really helped me in a way that people did take me seriously.” 

Girl On the Train actress Parineeti Chopra is also Meera’s cousin. She is glad that she is not compared to her or Priyanka yet. She adds, “Bollywood, I feel, is a tough industry to get in. You need a lot of patience and passion to stay. It is very easy to break down and give up when things aren’t working in your favour, and most of the time they are not in your favour. It takes forever to make your ground here. Only if you are very strong and passionate about your craft, will you be able to sustain yourself. Else Bollywood can literally break you.”
