Renowned actor of Hindi cinema Bhagwan Abhaji Palav aka Bhagwan Dada stepped into the acting world with the film 'Criminal'. He did many great films during his career. He has worked in the industry not only as an actor but also as a producer. In his time, Bhagwan was considered the first dancing and action hero. Due to his strong films, he ruled the industry.

But after films like Jhamela and Labela, his dreams started shattering. After this the actor started going through the most difficult time of his life. Bhagwan, fond of luxury lifestyle, had to move out of his luxurious bungalow and live in a slum. The actor had a wonderful collection of expensive vehicles, in the era in which people do not even have a car. At that time he had seven vehicles. Along with this, he had a luxurious bungalow, which used to have 25 rooms.

Bhagwan made many hit films like 'Bahadur', 'Kisan' during his film career. His film 'Albela' proved to be a super hit at the box office. But when he produced the film Haste Rehna and cast Kishore Kumar as the lead actor in the film, it is said that due to Kishore Kumar's tantrums, the film had to be shelved midway. Bhagwan had put his life's earnings at stake to make this film. But due to the closure of the film in the middle, he had to sell everything and was forced to live in a chawl.

He had to sell his Juhu bungalow and seven cars. He used these cars on different days of the week. Bhagwan Dada, who lived like a king, lived in a chawl during his last days. He died of a heart attack in the year 2002.
