Actor Bharat Jadhav will be making a comeback in Marathi movies after taking a sabbatical of almost 4 years. The ‘Shreemant Damodar Pant’ actor will be seen in not just one but two projects. One will be ‘Stepney’ and the other will be ‘Appa aani Bappa’. The actor says he was offered similar roles over and over and got fed up and took a break. The actor was however involved in theatre during this time.

Bharat Jadhav recently received the Chitrapati V Shantaram Special Contribution Award at the 56th Maharashtra State Film Awards. He said the award was special to him not just for its recognition he got as an actor but also because his father worked as a driver for V Shantaram and they lived in a chawl put up by the filmmaker for his employees in Rajkamal studios. Never in his wildest dreams did he think that he would get an award named after him.
