Talented actor Bijay Anand surprised everyone when he quit Bollywood after appearing in the Ajay Devgn starrer Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha in 1998. He was missing in action until 6 years ago when he returned to acting with the Television show Siya Ke Ram six years back. Now the actor is back into Bollywood too and will be seen in the Sidharth Malhotra starrer Shershaah playing the leading lady Kiara Advani’s father’s role. The actor says about his role, “If I am old enough to be a father in real life, then I am old enough to be a father on celluloid. I keep getting advice from well-wishers that I should shave off my beard and wear a wig to look younger. I would only do that if a director wanted me to look that particular way for a role. Otherwise I am happy the way I am”

Bijay will next be seen in the Emraan Hashmi starrer Ezra, playing the role of his boss. He has previously also been seen in the TV show Rudrakaal playing the role of a terrorist.
