Recently, Shahid has been signed in Malayalam director Roshan Andrews' film 'Koi Shaq', after which there was a buzz in the industry that the actor has cut his fee for this. However, now another new update related to this film has come to the fore. Initially this film was being told as a remake of Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer 'Mumbai Police', but now it has become clear that this film will not be a remake but an original.

A source informs, “Several reports have surfaced, claiming that the Roshan Andrews film with Shahid Kapoor is a remake of Mumbai Police. However, this is far from the truth. The project titled 'Koi Shaq' is actually an original script that has been developed." Elaborating further, the source said, "Things are still in nascent stages. Yes, the cast and script have been decided, but Andrews is keeping things under wraps. More details will be revealed once the shooting resumes.”
