When makers of the upcoming Marathi film Tarafa had shared the first look poster of the film, it was hard to tell who the leading pair was. In a way they kept it a surprise and made the audiences guess. Now they have finally disclosed the names of the leading pair; Ashwini Kasar and Pankaj Khamkar. This is the first time the two actors will be sharing screen space together in a film. 

Speaking of casting Ashwini and Pankaj in his film Tarafa, filmmaker Subodh Pawar stated, “The story of 'Tarafa' needed two new faces to do justice to it. So, we decided to cast Ashwini Kasar and Pankaj Khamkar as our lead couple. Both of them have done an amazing job and I am sure our audience will definitely love their work.” The film also stars Dilip Dombe, Shravni Solaskar, Milind Dastane and also stars Bhumi Avinash Kudche and Gauri Avinash Kudche. It will release across Maharashtra on 6th May 2022.
