In recent entertainment news, the comedy film Fukrey 3, starring Varun Sharma, Pulkit Samrat, Manjot Singh, Pankaj Tripathi, and Richa Chadha, has emerged as the box office champion, securing a hefty ₹63 crore nett in India, according to a report by Sacnilk.com. Meanwhile, The Vaccine War, a film directed by Vivek Agnihotri, struggled to keep pace, collecting around ₹50 lakh on Wednesday, as reported by the same source.

Fukrey 3 made a splash from its opening, starting at ₹8.82 crore net in India and steadily climbing. The film's success story continued with a remarkable ₹15.18 crore on its first Sunday, reaching a total of ₹62.93 crore net in India so far. This movie, a continuation from its beloved predecessors in 2013 and 2017, maintained its charm with the original cast, except for Ali Fazal, who made a cameo appearance.

The Vaccine War, on the other hand, depicts the true story of the development of Covaxin (BBV152), an indigenous and affordable Covid-19 vaccine. Despite its significant subject matter, the film faced challenges at the box office, earning ₹50 lakh on Tuesday and a similar amount on Wednesday. The movie stars Nana Patekar as the head scientist leading the race against time, supported by Pallavi Joshi as his second-in-command and Raima Sen as a journalist shaping a controversial narrative.

In this box office battle,  Fukrey 3 continues to spread joy, laughter and entertainment, leaving a lasting mark on audiences.
