The grand start of the year 2024 has been made with movies like Merry Christmas, HanuMan, Guntur Kaaram, and Captain Miller released in theatres. All the movies featured many big faces from different industries. This movie was expected to create a storm at the box office. Merry Christmas Box-Office Collection Day 1:

The mystery thriller starring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi set the bar high with its trailer. Directed by Sriram Raghavan Merry Christmas takes viewers on a thriller ride from the start till the end. The movie was shot in two different languages with different supporting casts. The Hindi version of the movie features Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand.  Rajesh Williams, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, and Radhika Sarathkumar are playing the supporting roles in the Tamil version. Although the makers and audience had big expectations from the movie its opening was quite dull at the box office. Merry Christmas managed to make  2. 30 Cr from its Hindi version on Friday. For the Tamil version movie earned 0.22 Cr. The Telugu version managed to get 0.03 Cr which made Merry Christmas Box Office Collection Of Day 1 ₹ 2.55 Cr. On its second day which is today as of now, the movie has managed to make 1.46 Cr. The worldwide collection of Merry Christmas stands at 3.05 Cr. 

HanuMan Box Office Collection Day 1:

The Indian Superhero movie which is a complete family entertainer has made a great opening and exceeded all expectations. HanuMan starring Teja Sajja, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Amritha Aiyer and Vinay Rai earned 11.15 Cr on its first day for all languages. The movie was released in 11 languages. As per the reports, HanuMan box office collection was divided into 5 languages. The movie minted 5.08 Cr as of now on its second day. 

Guntur Karam Box Office Collection Day 1:

The perfect mass masala movie directed by Trivikram Srinivas took the box office by storm on its opening day. The movie features Mahesh Babu and Sreeleela along with Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prakash Raj, Ramya Krishnan and Jayaram. The makers released the official statement on Twitter regarding the box office collection of Guntur Karam. The movie made  ₹94 crore worldwide, and according to Sacnilk.com, it made ₹48.7 crore on its opening day in India. 

Captain Miller box-office collection day 1: 

Based on the real story Captain Miller featuring Dhanush faced many controversies before its release. This periodic drama had a massive opening at the box office. Captain Miller reportedly made ₹ 8.70 Cr on its box-office collection day 1. On its second day as of now, the movie has made ₹ 2.73 Cr.
