The pandemic is engulfing life everywhere like never before. Things are getting worse everyday with thousands of deaths reported. Another name added to the unfortunate list is dialogue writer Subodh Chopra. He had written dialogues for the Irrfan Khan starrer Rog and Emraan Hashmi starrer Murder. The 49 year old passed away today at 11:30 a.m of post covid complications. His younger brother Shanky gave a glimpse of the nightmare the family experienced in last few days saying, “He had tested negative last week on Saturday, but his condition took a turn for the worse on Monday (May 10). His oxygen levels suddenly dropped and I made arrangements for a cylinder at home. He was feeling very exhausted and his blood pressure had risen as well. This morning, his condition deteriorated further, and I admitted him to the Lifeline Hospital in Malad. However, he passed away after a cardiac arrest. These were all complications that came after he got COVID-free.”

Shanky says Subodh had a dream of directing a Hindi movie soon and was very talented. He last helmed a Malyalam film named 'Vasudha'. May his soul Rest In Peace.
