Bollywood filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, who was recently working with Diljit Dosanjh on Chamkila biopic, seems to have shown interest in Punjabi cinema. Today on his social media handle, the director of 'Jatt We Met' praised the upcoming Punjabi film 'White Punjab'. He took to his social media story he shared a picture of himself with the writer-director of the movie Gabbar Sangrur holding the clapboard of the film. In another story, he only shared a picture of the clapboard. Along with the pictures he wrote - “best wishes to Gabbar Sangrur and team White Punjab”.

'White Punjab' focuses on the growing gang culture in Punjab. The film throws light on the rich culture of Punjab and how youth can play a big role in rebuilding Rangla Punjab. The cast of the film includes Kartar Cheema, Dakksh Ajit Singh, Rabbi Kandola. In addition, the film is presenting Kaka. Last but not the least, the cinematography of the film will be done by Soni Singh.
