Divita Rai is living in Mumbai and attended the Sir JJ College of Architecture her native place is Mangaluru, Karnataka. She tried her hand at a set design for a movie and even helped out, but she never gave up on her goal of becoming Miss Universe. She came in third place at the Miss Diva Universe competition in 2021, losing to the current Miss Universe, Harnaaz Sandhu. She then competed in and won the Miss Diva 2022 pageant the following year.
