Anand Pandit recently opened up about his latest Marathi movie Musafiraa. The movie is shot in the picturesque Isle of Skye which was a dream location for Pandit.

Anand Pandit's Dream of Filming in Scotland Comes True with 'Musafiraa':

While talking about choosing Scotland as the location for Musafiraa Anand Pandit shared the reason behind his choice. He shared how  Scotland has been a favourite destination for film units and many blockbusters such as 'Mission Impossible' (1996), 'Victoria & Abdul' (2017) and 'Skyfall' (2012) which is one of his favourite movies have been shot there. Ever since Pandit saw the windswept areas where 'Skyfall' was shot, he had a desire to shoot in Scotland and this wish came true with 'Musafiraa.'

 Musafiraa is a  Marathi entertainer directed by Pushkar Jog that was shot in the spectacular beautiful Isle of Skye Pandit says, 'This is a lesser explored region and 'Musafiraa' is arguably the first Marathi film to have been shot here. It was thrilling to explore the stark beauty of its landscapes, fishing villages and medieval castles.'

Beyond Landscapes: 'Musafiraa' Delves into Human Emotions and Friendship:

Anand Pandit assured the audience that the movie is not just about Scottish landscapes but about human relationships and the complexities of friendship. The movie is receiving much audience love and critical acclaim after its release on 2 February 2024 and is about a reunion trip that five close friends take because of a broken engagement. However, the trip brings up many unresolved conflicts and jeopardises their friendship.

Directed by Pushkar Jog, the movie stars Pushkaraj Chirputkar, Pushkar Jog himself, Disha Pardeshi and Pooja Sawant.
