Global Star Ram Charan and Kiara Advani Starrer Game Changer trailer launch was held in Mumbai today on Jan 4. Directed by the legendary filmmaker S Shankar, Game Changer is slated for release on January 10, 2025, on the occasion of Sankranti.

The trailer launch of the highly anticipated 'Game Changer' Directed by S Shankar saw the presence of Ram Charan, S J Surya, Dil Raju and Anil Thadani. Kiara Advani missed the launch due to health reasons. The star-studded film includes renowned actors such as S J Suryah, Nassar, Sunil, Prakash Raj, and Jayaram, making it one of the most talked-about releases of 2025.

The trailer revealed the film's plot centred around an IAS officer played by Ram Charan, who ensures fair elections setting right the corrupt politicians, while Kiara Advani plays his female lead. The trailer promised high-octane action sequences and a cultural extravaganza including a variety of folk dance forms of India including Garba, Purulia Chaau and many, in its bouquet of songs choreographed by  Prabhudeva and Ganesh Acharya. The songs are a bit overwhelming because of the vastness, props, and rapid movement, which lacked focus, causing less impact on the viewers.

Ram Charan looked calm and casual at the event and responded about how was it to work with Director S Shankar in Game Changer, saying, I have been always very keen to work with Shanker Sir. It was once at an event I was sitting beside him and wanted to request him to make a Telegu film since he always makes Tamil films, but I had no guts to tell him. After many years when I was doing the last two schedules of RRR, Dil Raju Garu came to meet me and told me that Shankar Sir wanted to work with me. That was the moment of my life and I made him call Shankar Sir there and then. It's such a dream come true to work with him. Shankar Sir is the epitome of commercial, larger-than-life films, who's defined the global and pan-Indian cinema as a Director and I am so blessed.

Responding to how was it to work with Shankar after working with Rajamouli in RRR he adds, As an actor, I feel so blessed to work with Directors like Rajamouli in RRR and now Shanker in Game Changer in a span of last five years. There is so much to learn from both, as they both are task masters. They give you every opportunity to perform and give your best, it's very rare to work with such directors.


He further adds," I remember there was not even a single day to relax, it was one day when we were sitting and having a coffee on a set and Shankar Sir started looking at my hair. There was just a minor difference in my looks that he compared to the image on his iPad, and then I came to know he was not talking to me, he was talking with the character. He is such a taskmaster and a perfectionist in his craft who has a great eye for detail and is so particular even if he is working with Rajnikanth, Kamal Hassan or me, and that's what I loved working for him.

Dil Raju throwing light on the massive pre-launch event in Dallas which received an overwhelming response said, 'With Game Changer I wanted something new and to make it unique we thought of doing a pre-launch event in the US. It was a four-hour long event which had an extraordinary  response with almost a crowd of 12000 ppl, who were even waiting outside the auditorium.'

Talking about the grandly shot songs  Raju added, 'This is the 50th film under our banner and so we wanted to make something special. We have shot five songs at a budget of 75 crores, wherein each song has been shot for 10-12 days. Shankar Sir designs every song, different songs have been shot at different locations like Hyderabad, New Zealand and Amritsar.

Actor S J Surya sounded very excited about the film which had received 180 million views on the trailer in 24 Hours. He said, I  wish a very  Happy New Year to all and the entire gamut of film industries including  Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Bhojpuri, and Bengali, that every movie should be a hit, and do great in the coming year and that success spree begins with Game Changer.

He adds, It's a great honour to be a part of this film to work with Shankar Sir, Dil Raju Sir and especially Ram Charan Garu, who's a big star who's reached globally everywhere. He's a genuine actor who's done a fantastic performance in the characters of Ram and Aparna which will steal your heart in this film. I believe that this movie will talk for itself.

 The film Game Changer boasts of a big cat, production value, and a great concept which is a war between a corrupt politician and a truthful collector, watch out the film for its magic on screen and performances, which is a complete entertainer in theatres on January 10, 2025.
