Actress Geeta Basra is all set to act in Bollywood for once. She is going to work in the Hindi film industry again with the film 'Awasthi vs Awasthi'. Producer Alankar Pandian who has made PAN India films like 'Kabza' and 'Vikrant Rona' has now joined hands with filmmaker Pawan Kumar Wadeyar for the upcoming film 'Awasthi Vs Awasthi'.

Talking about this collaboration, Alankar said, “While watching the showreel of Awasthi vs Awasthi, one character – Sheetal – caught my attention. Impressed with the way Geeta Basra has portrayed the character, I have decided to come on board as co-producer. Alankar is very excited about this film and is determined to present it to a global audience. With his expertise and passion, he aims to give a bigger platform to the film.

Harbhajan was surprised to hear the story

Talking about the same, filmmaker Pawan shared that Geeta's husband cricketer Harbhajan Singh was thrilled when he heard the script and Geeta immediately agreed to play the powerful character. Let us tell you that the actress will be seen in the role of a housewife in the film. The project, backed by Alankar's Invenio Origin Production and Pawan's Wodeyar Movies, is directed by Parambrata Chatterjee.
