The recently released web series ‘Ranjish Hi Sahi’ has been getting some rave reviews. Director Pushpdeep Bhardwaj says his mentor Mahesh Bhatt was a big inspiration for the series. He said, “Mahesh sir asked me what I want to do next. I said I'll write something and then he told me that he has some 5 pages of anecdotes of his life to share. All this happened so randomly.” Bhardwaj also added, “He really loved the show the way I have put in my colours and executed it. He is like a life coach and he gave me complete freedom to make the film. Basically, if I'm Harry Potter he is my Dumbledore. He already knew what I want to create in it. He is very clear that the director is the captain of the ship. He really loved the show and never doubted my capabilities.” 

Talking further about the Tahir Raj Bhasin starrer ‘Ranjish Hi Sahi’, Pushpdeep said, “The response from the people has been overwhelming. It's a slow burn, emotional roller-coaster which leaves you with heavy heart in the end. This genre wasn't touched for a while so it was a great opportunity for us to come up with something like this. With consecutive shows of thriller and crime dramas, this show feels like a breath of fresh air. It is a genre changing for audiences.” The series also stars Amala Paul and Amrita Puri.
