The premiere episode of Bigg Boss OTT started on an exciting note. Host Karan Johar was in his full element and introduced one contestant
 after another. He called out to Bhojpuri star Akshara Singh as ‘Bijli’, ‘Shola’ and ‘Andhi’. The actress came in dancing to the beats of Bollywood song ‘Saawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag’. She later chose Pratik Sehajpal and Karan Nath to match her in her dancing steps. She later chose Pratik for following her the best. The latter however had an answer for that and said, “Mein please kisi ko nahi karta, mein follow nahi karta...aap mujhe mat follow karna house mein.” He also added that she should mind her own business and said, “Connection mein equal responsibility hoti hai. Mein apne mein hi leader hun.”

On asked why she chose Pratik despite him having rubbed a lot of people the wrong way in the Bigg Boss house already, she said, “I like Akdu (arrogant) men.” Singer Neha Bhasin who doesn’t seem to like Pratik too said, “only you can handle him, and the real fun will begin now.” Looks like the coming days in the house are going to be full of entertainment and fights.
