Well known Punjabi actor and filmmaker Gippy Grewal was in shock when he learnt that his official YouTube channel was hacked. He suspects that the culprits are cryptocurrency hackers. Speaking on this issue, the Manje Bistre actor said, “I was told about this by my fans who said that perhaps my channel had been hacked. Lot of the data has also been deleted from my channel, and there are only a few songs left on it now.”

Gippy said that he has reported the matter to cyber crime and they will do the needful. He added, “I am sure all will be well soon and my content and channel will be restored soon.” His channel is reportedly one of the biggest compared to any Punjabi artist. Besides having songs, it also features footage of his three sons and their activities. As per reports, no serious damage has been done to the channel. Gippy was last seen in the Punjabi comedy film Shava Ni Girdhari Lal.
