Bollywood filmmaker Imtiaz Ali is known for his incredibly romantic and heart touching films like Highway, Love Aaj Kal, among others. He has now announced his next titled Jeena Abhi Baaki Hai, which will be a hard-hitting, woman-centric short film. It’s star cast is also just as brilliant. The film stars Divyanka Tripathi, Anupriya Goenka, Madhurima Tuli, Priya Malik, Vivek Dahiya and Rasha Kirmani. 

Jeena Abhi Baaki Hai is directed by Varun Prabhudayal Gupta and produced by Imtiaz Ali. Speaking about the film Ali said, “Jeena Abhi Baaki Hai was conceived in the darkest hours of the pandemic. The team has made a very sensitive film. These stories touch our hearts and make us think about how we can surmount these problems faced by women.” 

Actress Divyanka and her husband Vivek Dahiya will feature together in the film for the first time. Speaking about the same director Gupta stated, “I spoke to Divyanka over the phone and I found the energy that we wanted. The moment I met Divyanka, it was like the universe’s call. While casting for her husband’s character, even before I could ask Vivek, he was gracious enough to play that role because both of them felt strongly about the film.”
