Actor Abhishek Banerjee has an impressive career graph with shows like Mirzapur, Paatal Lok, and films like Rashmi Rocket and Stree, among others. The talented versatile actor is now gearing up for the release of his next web show titled ‘The Great Wedding of Munnes’. Speaking of his experience on working on the show Abhishek said, “It was a hectic schedule. We did not have any off days so the entire crew and cast has put in a lot of hard work. The show for me was like an adventure, we shot in multiple cities, had multiple challenges and a crazy plot. I love the vision of Raaj Shaandilyaa.”

Speaking further about the series’ producer Raaj, Banerjee added, “He is one of the funniest guys I have ever met. He thinks on his toes, I don’t know how he comes up with all these funny situations, but I love that, I mean that’s what an actor needs.” He added, “From hectic schedules, multiple locations, no day-offs, we shot with a lot many challenges but it will also guarantee a lot of madness on the screen.” 

The Great Weddings of Munnes is directed by Sunil Subramani and also stars Barkha Singh in the lead. The series is produced by Raaj Shaandilyaa and will stream exclusively on Voot Select the following year.
