Actor Chirag Jani is a well known face in the South film Industry. He is now making his presence felt in Gujarati cinema with the upcoming period drama ‘Nayika Devi - The Unsung Warrior Queen’. The actor who has wrapped up the film’s shooting said, “First of all, it is a matter of pride that for the first time in the history of Gujarati films, a film like this is being made. I have been working in the South Indian film industry for the last couple of years and coming to the Gujarati industry was a great experience. Many people often think that the Gujarati industry doesn't have that many strong storylines or good historic and action movies. But I am sure that after they watch this movie, all these stereotypes and prejudices regarding Dhollywood would get erased.”

Talking about his role in the Gujarati film, Chirag further added, “the character I am playing demanded a very good physique. In a small town like that, there's no gym. Even the hotel was a heritage property, so I did not have any option. But, the production was very supportive so they had offered me the possible amenities they could. But, at the end of the day, one does not get such diet food and every gym requirement like that, so I had to manage but it was still fun, It was like survival of the fittest for me.” Fans are super excited to see the actor in this new avatar.
