Almost every beauty queen that has ever won a pageant title dreams of working in Bollywood. Former Miss World Manushi Chhillar is no different. Her dreams finally came true when Yash Raj chose her to play the leading lady in the Akshay Kumar starrer Prithviraj. She will essay the role of Princess Sanyogita. Expressing her gratitude she said, “I have been fortunate enough to have gotten this kind of launchpad, and I’m hoping that I have done justice to the opportunity that I have got.” 

Manushi further added about prepping for her debut role saying, “I worked hard to get the part. I know that I worked on myself harder to play the role of Princess Sanyogita. It was a huge responsibility. I’m thrilled that people are appreciating how I’m looking in the film. I hope that they love how I have performed too because that’s going to be my true test on screen.” 

Prithviraj is directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi. He is known for the television epic Chanakya and the award-winning film Pinjar starring Urmila Matondkar. Prithviraj will hit the big screens on 10th June 2022 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
