Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff starrer Ram Lakhan was one of the most iconic and epic sagas of the 90s. With Subhash Ghai directing, the two collaborated on several projects, including the highly acclaimed Parinda. It's been a long time since Jackie and Anil shared the screen. However, looks like the wait will finally be over as their reunion is on the cards. Subhash Ghai is gearing up for an out-and-out comedy titled Chor Police. A source told the portal, "It is a comic caper in which Anil Kapoor plays a character from a family of thieves aka Choron and Jackie Shroff plays a character from a family of cops aka cops. The chemistry between the two is very dynamic in the film." Both the characters have opposite traits. Furthermore, reports state that Jackky and Anil feel this is a script that virtually guarantees their reunion.

Giving more details about the upcoming project, the source said, "It is written by Anees Bazmee and Pattu Parekh. It is an out-and-out comedy revolving around the families of cops and thieves. On board as director but talks are on with Ravi Jadhav to come on board. The film is currently in initial stages, but everything should be in place by early next year. While the script is locked, the logistics of the director and actors are being worked out. Before signing on, the source said, "It's a typical Anees Bazmee film with cops, thieves, family and a love story. Other actors in the cast will also be locked soon. There will be a studio partner as well. " As per reports, Subhash Ghai will produce the film. However, it is noteworthy that neither the actors nor the makers have made any official announcement about the same.
