John Abraham’s recently released film 'The Diplomat' has been in the theatres for a week and has been giving tough competition to Vicky Kaushal's 'Chhaava,' which has performed exceptionally well at the box office since last month.

In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, John Abraham made an unusual and shocking revelation about his recent release. He said, 'When some OTT platforms had declined to stream 'The Diplomat' because they didn't find it certainly great, as a result, they rejected the film and threw it.'

In spite of this, the film's director, Shivam Nair, didn't lose hope and strongly believed that it would perform exceptionally at the box office. Although John had confessed that it was reasonable for the platforms to decline it, as they would be sceptical to invest money in it. Moreover, he felt very proud when it was released in the theatres and proved these streaming platforms wrong.
