Bollywood actor John Abraham has evolved as an action hero over the years. From Batla House to Satyameva Jayate 2, he has cemented his way into the action world. The actor has another love, and that is for football. He has previously played lead in a football centric film titled Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal. Now the actor is all set to feature in another sports drama based on football titled 1911. The film is to be helmed by Piku director Shoojit Sircar. 

 

1911 was to have real-life football players from the North-East when the film was first announced. There is been a development on the film or rather no appropriate development so to speak. John had asked his team of writers to handle the script but he is not satisfied with the end result. With his knowledge of being behind the camera, the Desi Boyz actor feels a good script could take years. He is waiting for the right story to begin work on 1911. Meanwhile, john will next be seen in Pathan starring Shah Rukh Khan and later in Attack.
