After receiving the National Award recently for her impeccable talent, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut was honored with the highest honor of the Padma Shri. The ceremony was held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in the capital and the awardees were given their awards by President Ram Nath Kovind. Singer Adnan Sami, Filmmaker Karan Johar, producer Ekta Kapoor and late singer S P Balasubrahmanyam were also bestowed upon with the awards. 

Sharing her pride and immense happiness at receiving India’s highest honor for her craft, Panga actress Kangana Ranaut shared her joy on social media in a video and said, “People often ask me what do I get by doing all this? Why do I do all this? This is not your job. So this award is my answer to them. Padma Shri ke roop mein jo mujhe sammaan mila hai ye bahut logon ke mooh band karega.” She looked gorgeous in a golden colored saree while Adnan Sami looked dapper in a black sherwani. On the work front the actress will next be seen playing an Air Force pilot in Tejas and later as Agent Agni in Dhaakad.
