Bollywood producer Sajid Nadiadwala is back with the second installment of his 2014 hit Heropanti. It starred Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon in the lead, which was also their respective debut. The second time round, we will see the same male lead with Tara Sutaria as the leading lady. The story of the film will revolve around a compassionate man who helps the poor and marginalized by night and fights the goons and bad guys. He keeps his identity a secret. He is then sent abroad on a special mission. Popular TV and film actor Kanwalpreet Singh has been roped in to play Shroff’s best friend in the film. 

Singh has previously starred in the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Tamasha and Mastizaade, among others. He is a well known Punjabi actor as well. Talking about his role he said, “Yes, I’m doing Heropanti 2. I’m quite elated to work with such a dedicated bunch of people. While most of the movie is action-based, my character will surely bring freshness in the story. I’m playing a very desi and flamboyant character and I’m sure the viewers will like my camaraderie with Tiger on-screen. This is my second project with Sajid Nadiadwala productions. People have a lot of expectations from the movie, and I’m sure we will be able to live up to it.”
