Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon and Tabu are all set to share the screen for the first time in a comedy entertainer. The film is titled 'The Crew', starring Rhea Kapoor and produced by Ekta Kapoor. The filmmaker duo, Rhea and Ekta are reuniting after the 2018 film, Veere Di Wedding. Set against the backdrop of the airline industry, the plot revolves around three women who work hard to be successful in life.However, their fate puts them in some unfortunate circumstances and they fall into the trap of lies.

Rhea Kapoor took to social media and announced the big news. The filmmaker shared a video from the cast's cover shoot. In the caption,  "After three years of dreaming, writing, planning I present to you with @ektarkapoor on the November Cover of @vogueindia our ‘dream cast’ which is now a reality. ‘The Crew’ starring @tabutiful @kareenakapoorkhan and @kritisanon starts shoot February 2023. Directed by @rajoosworld written by @nidsmehra and Mehul Suri."

Talking about the film, producer Ekta Kapoor said: "After the success of 'Veere Di Wedding', Balaji Motion Pictures is happy to collaborate on another film with the amazing Rhea Kapoor. Tabu, Kriti, and Kareena are a perfect ensemble for ‘The Crew’ and the film is super entertaining yet funny at the same time. I can’t wait to bring this story to the big screen."
