Indian Idol is one of the most loved reality shows on TV. With high profile celebs as well as yesteryears legends gracing the show with their presence, the audiences are having a gala time watching it. Now in the 12th season the show is riding high on success. Recently music icon Kavita Krishnamurthy and Kumar Sanu came to the sets of the show on the occasion of Friendship day as guest judges. Kavita was enjoying the commendable performances of the contestants when a surprise was announced for her. It was a sweet message from ‘Dream Girl’ of Bollywood herself Hema Malini. The latter reminiscences how the two knew each other since childhood and their respective mothers wanted them to do great things in the film industry. While she herself became an actress, Kavitaji became a successful singer. 

The message from Hema Malini brought Kavitaji to tears. Especially the black and white photos of them both in their younger days made her emotional. Indian Idol 12 is nearing its finale. Watch this space for more updates on the same.
