While Maharashtra is under a strict 15 day lockdown, it has affected the shoots of films and TV serials too. Many shoots have been halted while others are shifting base to other cities to resume/wrap up pending shoots. Thus the popular Television show Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti team is heading to Surat, Gujarat to complete its shoot. The entire cast and crew is undergoing the covid test before flying off to the city.

The lead actor of Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti, Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi, stated, “While I welcome the decision of the government and understand that all the measures announced were needed to break the chain of transmission of the COVID-19, the show must go on. The channel and our producers have decided to continue with the shoot of Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti at a sealed and secured (Bio Bubble) location outside Maharashtra. It is going to be a 3 - 4 week schedule and the story is being reworked at the moment to accommodate the change.” The show also stars Neha Marda in the lead.
