Popular Bhojpuri actress Mani Bhattachariya known for her films like Saugandh and Ghoonghat Mein Ghotala, among others has a harrowing incident on set of her upcoming patriotic film Mera Bharat Mahan. The actress was busy filming around a large crowd gathered to see the shooting in action. However due to lack of proper security, only bouncers were stationed in place and kept the crowd under control. However on one occasion when the bouncer started pushing the crowd behind some people got injured and in retaliation started throwing stones.

The lead actress unfortunately was in the way of the stones and got hit badly on her head. Mani was rushed to the hospital and received treatment for the injury. Mera Bharat Mahan is a patriotic film that also stars Ravi Kishan and Pawan Singh. The actress was last seen in the film Chakravyuh starring Deepak Bhatia, Mukesh Raj and Rajneesh Pathak, among others.
