Mirzapur actress Rasika Dugal is bringing unexplored beauty, cultures and art of the state of Jharkhand in the recently released docuseries ‘Postcards from Jharkhand’. Talking about the show earlier the ‘No Smoking’ actress had said, “Jamesdhpur and Jharkhand hold a very special place in my heart. And now, this exciting collaboration with National Geographic and the Government of Jharkhand has given me a chance to embark on an adventure to explore and re-connect with my home state. The breathtaking views, incredible tribal community, art, culture, and, most importantly, the charm of this place has taken me back to my childhood days, making this journey even more memorable for me.”

Rasika further added, “I felt I hadn't really explored and experienced different aspects of the place I grew up in and I was keen to correct that. My travels within Jharkhand had so far been only functional. I had never really gone on a holiday within the state. I realised on this trip that I was missing out on a lot. The Jharkhand government is now actively working towards encouraging tourism in the state. And I am happy that many more will now enjoy the beauty of my homeland.”

Postcards from Jharkhand airs on National Geographic Channel.
