Bollywood filmmaker Meghna Gulzar has brought gripping stories like Chhapaak, Raazi, etc. to her audiences. The director is now gearing up for her next, which is the biopic Sam Bahadur. The filmmaker has been scouting for locations for her film, which plays an essential part of a film’s fabric. She reportedly visited the Jamia Millia Islamia University in New Delhi.

If things work out well for her team and the University, Sam Bahadur will be shot there in October for a couple of days. The University apparently charges Rs 1 lakh for a day’s shoot and films like Panga and Doordarshan have been shot in the campus previously. Sam Bahadur also stars Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The film is based on the life of Field Marshal Sam Hormusji Framji Jamshedji Manekshaw MC.
