India's iconic superhero, Shaktimaan Mukesh Khanna is back yet again with a music video ‘Katha Azaadi Ke Veeron Ki’ which pays tribute to India's freedom struggle and its unsung heroes.

Mukesh Khanna is known for playing legendary roles like Shaktimaan and Bhishma Pitamah in B R Chopra’s Mahabharat is yet again back with a music video. Released under Bhishma International, the song has received an overwhelming response on YouTube.

Directed by Samit Bansal, features Mukesh Khanna as Shaktimaan, is seen quizzing children about India's freedom fighters, including Jhansi Ki Rani, Shaheed Rajguru, Sukhdev, Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose, and Turram Khan. The energetic choreography by Pappu Khanna and captivating composition by Surya Rajkamal perfectly complement the song's patriotic spirit.

Talking about his experience while shooting the video, Khanna says, ‘I have been fighting for years to get martyr status for our freedom fighters through the 'Jai Hind Abhiyan.'

He adds, ‘Dipak Kumar Tripathi approached me with this beautiful, informative song and I loved the concept, 'Bujho ye krantikari kaun?' (Guess the freedom fighter?). I decided to record it, which perfectly blends my voice and the Shaktimaan's iconic personality and costume.’

Khanna emphasized on how music can be an effective medium to convey a message says, ‘This song will educate listeners about our freedom struggle and history. I plan to create a series of such songs to honour India's unsung heroes.”

The music video is a tribute to over 300 freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for India's independence. Khanna's initiative aims to inspire the younger generation to learn about India's rich history and its brave freedom fighters.
