Well known producer Gul Khan who is known to have brought great stories on the small screen is all set to present her next gripping story titled ‘Aashiqana’. The story of the thriller revolves around a police officer, a girl with an undying spirit and a brutal killer on the loose. This will be the first collaboration between Gul Khan and Disney + Hotstar. 

Speaking about the show Khan said, “I am excited to associate with Disney+ Hotstar for my first digital series Aashiqana. I am back as the series director in the show. The unique story goes beyond two star-crossed lovers and takes on society’s patriarchal setup. There is love, passion, action and grit that brings out the never-ending fight for justice and resolution in traumatized lives.” 

The Hotstar Specials romance thriller Aashiqana will begin streaming from 6th June 2022.
