Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is known for not always playing by the rules when it comes to her career. She has given us daring and one of a kind roles that hardly could be imagined by any other actress. However, makers of one of her latest upcoming films had wanted Katrina Kaif in the lead but for creative reasons took the Panga actress on board. The film we are talking about is Dhaakad. 

Producer Deepak Mukut revealed in an interview once, “She had loved the idea, but for creative reasons, the entire team just felt that we should take a chance with Kangana.” Fans are impressed with Kangana’s look as Agent Agni in the recently released teaser of the action film. The excited actress states, “When Dhaakad came my way, I felt happy to see that someone had dared to visualise a woman in a hardcore commercial film as an action heroine. I’m all for dare-devilry and doing something that pushes the envelope. There’s nothing that does it like a good commercial film.”

Dhaakad is directed by Razneesh Ghai and produced by Deepak Mukut and Sohail Maklai. It also stars Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta, and will have a theatrical release on 20th May 2022.
