Bollywood sweetheart Alia Bhatt will be making her debut as a producer with the upcoming film Darlings. The film has garnered a lot of curiosity with its cast and title ever since it was announced. The cast and crew have finally wrapped up the shoot today. The film stars Alia Bhatt in the lead with Vijay Varma, Roshan Mathew and Shefali Shah. The latter wrote an emotional post on her social media page that read, “Another wrap 🙁 Nothing prepares me for the good-byes 😔😔😔 #ShootWrap All the #Darlings I’ll miss you.” Along with the post, the Ajeeb Daastaans actress has shared a series of BTS pictures with her embracing the rest of the cast. 

On her part, Alia Bhatt shared, “my first film as a producer but I will always be an actor first & forever (in this case a very nervous actor) I don’t know what it is .. a night before I start a new film I get this nervous tingling energy all over my body.. i dream all night about messing up my lines..become jumpy.. reach set 15 mins before time fearing I’ll be late! I guess this feeling will never go away.. and it shouldn’t - because being nervous.. and feeling unsure means you really really care 💗💗 P.S - wish me luck pls (I’ll need all of it to match up to my co-actors.” Darlings is directed by Jasmeet K Reen and is touted as a dark comedy. Shefali will next be seen in the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Doctor G.
