Last week two of the most anticipated Bollywood movies were released in theaters. Both of these movies were expected to break records at the box office but unfortunately, the box office reports claim poor performances.  Bade Miyan Chote Miyan starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff and Maidaan starring Ajay Devgn are the movies in the discussion here. Both of these high-budget and star-studded movies failed to leave a remarkable mark on the box office collection as well as the audience.

Eid Clash: Bade Miyan Chote Miyan Outdoes Maidaan On Box Office:

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Maidaan clashed in theatres on the occasion of Eid 2024. The movies faced their opening weekend with high expectations but ended up with poor numbers at the box office. Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan had an impressive debut with ₹ 75 crore, in a worldwide box office collection. On the other hand, Maidaan has managed to earn an overall  ₹ 32 crore in 4 days.

Box Office Report Bade Miyan Chote Miyan Opens Strong, Later Experience Low On Box Office:

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and led by Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff had a good earning on the debut day. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan Box office collection day 1 made ₹ 15.5 Cr. The box office report of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan then experienced a decline as the movie made ₹ 7.5 Cr on day 2 and ₹ 8.42 Cr on day 3. On the opening weekend, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan managed to earn ₹ 8.95 Cr. The action drama now stands at  ₹ 48.5 Cr Gross in India and ₹ 75 Cr worldwide. The movie is expected to hit ₹ 100 Cr mark soon.

Maidaan Box Office Collection- Disappointing Debut for Ajay Devgn's Biographical Drama:

Looking at Maidaan box office report the movie has failed miserably in box office collection. Maidaan debuted in theaters with ₹ 4.5 Cr box office collection. On the second day at the box office, Maidaan made ₹ 2.75 Cr and on the third day ₹ 5.75 Cr. On its opening weekend, Maidaan managed to make ₹ 6.4 Cr. Maidaan now stands at ₹ 32.2 Cr at the worldwide box office. Maidaan is a biographical drama directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and features Ajay Devgn as coach football coach, Syed Abdul Rahim.
