India’s three-time Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a leader cherished by the whole nation, is getting his own biopic 'Main Atal Hoon'. National Award-winning actor Pankaj Tripathi is playing the part of the beloved leader.

When the shooting began Pankaj shared, 'Getting a chance to play the role of our great leader, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee was an honor in itself. We went through rigorous reading sessions to understand the dialect, his lifestyle, and his vision for India. I feel excited today as we begin shooting for Main ATAL Hoon.'

Pankaj Tripathi recently shared some posters of the film on his social media and the resemblance between him and Atal Bihari Vajpayee is unbelievable. He posted, 'Heart of Gold… Man of Steel… A versatile Poet… The visionary behind the New India. Witness the story of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, #MainATALHoon in cinemas on 19th January 2024.

This announcement created a buzz among fans and movie lovers. People are excited not only about the movie but how Pankaj Tripathi will bring the iconic leader to life. The first look of Pankaj has left everyone in awe and raised everyone’s expectations for the film. 

Behind the Scenes:

The movie is directed by the award-winning filmmaker Ravi Jadhav, and the screenplay is by Rishi Virmani and Ravi Jadhav. Produced by Vinod Bhanushali, Sandeep Singh, and Kamlesh Bhanushali, the film promises to be a cinematic tribute to one of India’s most respected leaders.

When asked about his experience with the character, Pankaj said, 'This role was very challenging for me. I was wondering whether I would be able to do it properly or not. I have done this role with my hard work and full honesty. I had read a lot before playing the role. I have also remembered many of Atal ji’s poems.'
