Project K's eagerly awaited release date has been announced. Starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles, the upcoming Nag Ashwin directorial will hit the theatres on January 12, 2024. On January 18, the announcement was made in celebration of Mahashivratri. On Saturday, the release date was announced in addition to the first poster. The picture was shared by Amitabh Bachchan.

The movie is expected to be released in two parts, as previously reported. The sci-fi world and conflicts of the Magnum era will be established in the first part. The goal is to make Vyjayanthi Movies' 50th anniversary celebration the biggest Indian movie ever. The production team is shooting both parts simultaneously, and they will be released similarly to Ponniyin Selvan – Parts 1 and 2 by Mani Ratnam. The VFX components are currently being worked on by the makers, who are in the post-production stage. On her birthday, the first picture of Deepika was made public.
