Punjabi cinema has grown to a humongous capacity, where brilliant content is being showcased year after year. The industry has really achieved a lot in terms of quality of movies and performances by actors. Honoring such fantastic work in the world of entertainment, the 67th National Film Awards was announced on 22nd March 2021 and the Punjabi film Rabb Da Radio 2 won the Best Punjabi Feature Film. The film stars Simi Chahal and Tarsem Jassar in leading roles. The entire team was rejoicing over the wins.

Simi took to her social media page to show her gratitude for all the love the fans have given the film. Sharing a picture with her leading man from the winning film she wrote, “Guddi te Manjinder valon Dhanwaad ji for all the love #RabbDaRadio2  #ItsATeamWork.” The film is directed by Sharan Art and also stars B N Sharma, Nirmal Rishi and Jagjeet Sandhu. Meanwhile Punjabi singer and music composer B Praak won Best Playback Singer Male for ‘Teri Mitti’ from the Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Kesari’.
