ZEE5 announced its upcoming original film, Mrs. Undercover. Headlined by Radhika Apte as Mrs Undercover, this is another female-led story from ZEE5 after Chhatriwali and Lost.Produced by B4U Motion Pictures in association with Jaadugar Films and Night Sky Movies and written and directed by Anushree Mehta, the direct-to-digital film also stars Sumeet Vyas, Rajesh Sharma, and Saheb Chatterjee in key roles and will premiere on an OTT platform.

Mrs. Undercover is a funny, coming-of-age, action-packed, and gripping tale of a simple Indian housewife, who is actually a special undercover agent who is called back on the job after 10 years. However, in these 10 years, she has forgotten all about being an undercover agent as she devoted all her time to 'just' being a housewife, taking care of her mother-in-law, father-in-law, son, and patriarchal demanding Husband.

Radhika Apte is not only headlining the film but will be seen in a never seen before avatar as a housewife and an undercover agent fighting several bad guys and patriarchal notions. The film ends with a message and a realization that a housewife is a superwoman in the true sense and is never 'just' a housewife.
