After impressing the audiences last year with his performance in Jiji Maa, Television actor Rajeev Paul is all set to entertain his fans again. This time however he will be seen in a different avatar. The actor has been roped in for the popular TV show Sasural Simar Ka 2 for a negative role. Speaking of his new role the actor stated, “am playing a negative role after years. Even in my last show I was a good guy. There's nothing wrong with playing a positive character but sometimes it gets boring, with all due respect to other actors who playing good guys. I feel that one should stand out in a show with their role. Of course it all depends on the opportunities you get. I'm happy to have got this opportunity. This is the first time I will be sporting a bearded look. People will see a new me on this show.”

Currently the team of Sasural Simar Ka 2 is shooting in Agra in a resort, where the entire cast and crew is put up since March. It will be interesting to see Rajeev in this new form after years.
