Bollywood sweetheart Rakul Preet Singh’s infectious smile has made her a favorite among fans. But that’s not the only reason she is loved. Her talent for acting and choice of movies has grown better and better with each passing project. While fans were eagerly waiting for her next film, bang comes the news of her upcoming film where she will be playing the role of a condom tester. The film’s name too has been now revealed to be Chhatriwali. Condoms in India are sometimes referred to as ‘Chhatri’ and hence the name. The film will be directed by Marathi filmmaker Tejas Vijay Deoskar who directed Bucket List starring Madhuri Dixit Nene. 

 

Chhatriwali is a social comedy and will be produced by Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP and have a direct to OTT release. Rakul will be making her digital debut with Sardar Ka Grandson opposite Arjun Kapoor. She also has Doctor G opposite Ayushmann Khurrana.
