Filmmaker Ayan Mukerji is gearing up for the release of his magnum opus Brahmastra this September. While the film is already making headlines for being India’s first ever original universe- Asterverse and for having cutting edge technology, the film has now gained another repute. The film has joined the list of Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures' theatrical release slate for 2022. It will join the ranks of Hollywood’s movies like 'Thor: Love and Thunder' starring Chris Hemsworth, the hugely anticipated 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' and even James Cameron's 'Avatar: The Way of Water'. 

 

Brahmastra Part One: Shiva stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead along with Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni. 
The film that took nearly 5 years to make will finally release on 9th September 2022 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. This will be Ranbir and Alia’s first release and collaboration after their wedding in April last month.
